Techsmith Microsoft Screencast Contest

The Microsoft East Region Developer Evangelism Team and TechSmith, developers of Camtasia Studio, have come together to promote the Launch Tour 2005 with a screencasting contest.

You can only use Camtasia Studio to create the screencast (AVI format). The content should be about 5-8 minutes long featuring the following Microsoft products - Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, SQL Server 2005 or BizTalk Server2006. Code-based screencasts will be preferred over PowerPoint ones.

For participating in the contest, download Camtasia Studio (free trial) and evaluation copies of BizTalk Server 2006, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, or Visual Studio Team Systems from the MSDN Web site.

All entries will be shown off over at Channel 9. If you have a winning entry, you will receive backstage passes and rock-star treatment at the Launch Tour 2005 event, as well as various prizes, including a copy of Camtasia Studio. You can see some excellent screencasts prepared by Channel 9 members using Camtasia (Streaming WMV format).
