The Google Meetro deal is not happening, atleast in the near future. Randy had an interview with a Meetro guy and he left a link to the interview in my post on Meetro - Google Instant Messenger.
Well, as for the rumors, I hope to hell that they are true! We love Google, and I can certainly see why people might think that Meetro would fit in with their product line. We’ve talked with some people there — they were aware of us before the story broke — but the fact of the matter is that no acquisition is taking place.So time to focus on the Google Instant Messenger based on Jabber. Is that real ?
